Kisangani vzw supports the rural development project that started at the Science Faculty in Kisangani. We work with village communities and schools. There are five subprojects.

• Agroforestry with alley cropping
• Fish farming
• Breeding of pigs, poultry and rabbits
• Cultivation of rice
• The Mbiye island: breeding, cropping and protection of the forest
